I am an incoming Master’s student in Electrical and Computer Engineering (specializing in Machine Learning & Data Science) at the University of California, San Diego . Prior to this, I completed my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli , including a final-year exchange program at the Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras .
I have gained diverse research experience across multiple research labs and institutions. At IIT Madras, I’m currently working on 2D-to-3D coronary artery reconstruction from X-Ray Angiograms, Agentic AI framework for Chest X-ray Analysis and frame-level CVS prediction models for laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. I previously contributed to retinal OCTA microvascular and FAZ segmentation for diabetic retinopathy and multimodal Alzheimer’s classification at the MICAIH Lab, NIT Trichy, and ML-driven flexible hexagonal patch antenna design on PDMS for sub-6 GHz 5G wearable applications at the Motorola Lab, NIT Trichy. I also interned at A*STAR SimTech, Singapore, building spatter particle defect segmentation models for X-ray CT, and at Movement Control Lab, IISc Bengaluru, where I analyzed sEMG signals to study motor unit recruitment patterns.
Research Interests: My research interests lie at the intersection of Computer Vision, Multimodal Learning, and Medical Image Analysis, with a strong focus on Agentic AI systems, Large Language Models, Generative Models, and Trustworthy & Explainable AI in Healthcare. I aim to build robust and interpretable AI systems that can assist clinicians, optimize diagnostics, and improve healthcare delivery through human-centric design and safe deployment.
